Tropical Persuasion-Inspired by a recent trip to Rio, Hip Hop’s go to designer Riccardo Tisci was inspired by the tropical atmosphere, translating his travels into Givenchy’s latest impassioned show of exoticism. Taking on the short suit and other novelties, Tisci set about painting a white lineup with sequins and floral prints.
Working with a much lighter color palette than we’re used to seeing from Riccardo Tisci, we take a look into the Spring/Summer 2012 lineup from Givenchy.Givenchy Spring Summer 2012 resulted in a very wearable, shiny and minimalist collection. From white to shades of very soft pink, butter and olive green but also strong, structured black, Givenchy ss 2012 was as in trends as sartorially possible: layers, sporty couture, see through and suits, it’s all there, you just have to forget the prints . I used to have two different AD202's, and both of them were either hissy as hell or distorted, depending on input level, with only a very fine line in between. The delay times are quite short IIRC, and I didn't like the modulations at all. To sum it up: I'd go for the Dynacord (haven't used the SRS, but the VRS).
